One of my memories from my last decade, that of the single digits, is sneaking coffee from a grownup's cup at Tim Hortons. Ah, the audacity of youth ... nothing better, and I've only gotten better with age. Well, by my standards at least. I can nearly guarantee that my mood swings will send you spinning in five minutes. I'm a nerd, a bookworm, a stage actress, a novelist, and a music fanatic who can't sing to save her life. I'm a listener, a friend, a daughter, a student, a best friend, an acquaintance, and a pest.
Some sort of chemical reaction happens within me when it rains: I go crazy and dance in the middle of the streets, hair plastered to my forehead, chilled to the bone. I still love to swing, but not when there are little kids and their parents glaring at me. I'm a history buff. I go nuts for Say Goodnight, Gracie, by Julie Reece Deaver. Go read it now if you haven't already. I was a group leader in Brownies, a patrol leader in Girl Guides, and chairwoman in Pathfinders. I can't stand sushi. I love brownies warm and fudgy out of the oven. I like Thai food. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, except for chicken fried rice and delectable chow mein. I devour potato skins a la Boston Pizza. As for the rest? Patience, grasshopper.
